Contacted 5B8GV (Cyprus)on 3/20/2010 at 2053 GMT on 18.078 MHz.

Am pretty sure that was the correct call but I can find nothing about this call anywhere.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to QSL him?

Or if I am way off on the call is there a way to find out who was on that frequency at that time and date?

It means the cluster spot of 5B8GV was a bust of HB9CVQ's call.  I was tuning around on 17m during this time on March 20 and the HB9 was loud and making lots of QSOs on this frequency.

HB9CVQ        10/03/20 2103Z  18078.0
5B8GV         10/03/20 2057Z  18078.0
HB9CVQ        10/03/20 2056Z  18077.9
HB9CVQ        10/03/20 2047Z  18078.0 call corr.
5B8GV         10/03/20 2046Z  18078.0
HB9CVQ        10/03/20 2030Z  18078.0
HB9CVQ        10/03/20 2026Z  18078.0
HB9CVQ        10/03/20 2022Z  18078.0
HB9CVQ        10/03/20 2012Z  18078.0

So what it boils down to is you worked HB9CVQ.

It means you didn't copy his call correctly and it was in fact a very loud Swiss station that you worked, not Cyprus. On that frequency, on that date and time, many other stations reported hearing HB9CVQ and there is no callsign data anywhere for the 5B call you logged.
