Lost track of K4RIV when I went in the Marine Corps.  Anyone know anything about him since 1962?

I found Robert N Webb all the way up to my 1982-83 Callbook, but missing in the 1986-87 Callbook. A "name" search in the 1999 Callbook did not turn up his name or Callsign. There is a Robert N Webb listed in the Social Security Death Index as having been born on 12-22-1924 in West Virginia and died on 1-24-2004 in Florida (his last residence as listed in the Callbook). This would make him 37 years old during most of 1962. I wonder if this could be him ?

I think the deceased Robert N. Webb is Bob's dad.  In 1962, I was 18 and Bob was 19.  I just never thought Bob would drop ham radio.  He was pretty enthusiastic.

You will probably find him at :

http://www.zabasearch.com/query1_zaba.php?sname=ROBERT%20N%20WEBB&state=ALL&ref=&se=&doby=&city=&name_style=1&tm=&tmr=

Go down the list until you find the Robert N Webb born in August 1943. He lives in the same city as he did when he was last listed in the Callbook (VALPARAISO, FL)

As a teenaged novice, I had my first QSO with Bob (K4RIV) in August 1962. I remember the QSO as a scheduled one. My QTH was Pensacola, FL; his was Gulf Breeze, FL. So it certainly wasn't a DX QSO!
