Just purchased a new car and using EM-5M bracket with comet 5/8 antenna. Looking for ideas for a lower bracket to attach to the front hood lip. The one I'm using seems too tall and causes too much whip at highway speeds.  Any ideas---Thanks

I don't know what an EM-5M bracket is, and I can't find it on the Comet site.

The best way is to use a 90° angle bracket, and an NMO based antenna like the Larsen NMO2/70BK.
