Group,

I am thinking about purchasing a new Optoelectronics Explorer and I was wondering if anyone here currently owns one and could tell me if they are really worth the money ($700.00) and any good or bad experiences that they have had with it. I am looking at this model because it frequency counts, does decoding of several things, I can select a frequency range to scan and I can listen to the transmissions like a scanning receiver. From what I can tell this device is "almost" like having an RF Service Monitor. Almost.

Thanks much

Doug
