I am unable to get my Piexx board to talk with HRD.  I keep getting an error saying that it is unable to read the frequency.  Any Suggestions?  Thanks.

Do you get anything at all back from the radio? Perhaps you either got a bad connection or the baud rate isn't set correctly in the HRD software.

Connect the radio to the PC and fire up Hyperterminal program. Set the baud rate to whatever is required (suspect it probably is 9600 baud / 8 data bits / 1 stop bit / no parity - start here if unknown and experiment). See if the radio talks to the PC at all. This will check the hardware. if you are getting soem indication there is communincations but no readable, suspect baud rate config error. Once talking, go to HRD software and see what it is set too.

I haven't gotten a Piexx board yet for my 940. That's one of my after Christmas buys planned.

Good Luck,

Gene
