Found 800+ vacuum tubes in boxes

The task of going through all the stuff I had stored on my property is pretty arduous... I found my old Heathkit 6m tube rig which KE6VRK wants to play around with to see if he can get it working again, but the prize of the lot is a pair of big boxes containing over 800 vacuum tubes which I pulled out of junked TVs and stereos from about 1983 to 1988. Many of them probably still work... there are diodes, triodes, a few tetrodes, pentodes, and lots of combos (one smaller box has over 30 of those little 6GH8A tubes). Any of you folks know of someone in the L.A. region who deals in tubes who'd be willing to take them off my hands for a couple of bucks? No way am I going to throw them out!

Er...um hate to say it, but they are about as valuabe as...trash.

You may be able to find someone to take them off your hands for a "couple bucks", but that is literally all you will be getting.

Get online and Google some guitar amp repair guys (lots of 'em in California).  Some of them may be interested. Those old GE 6L6's 6V6's, KT66's, Tung Sols, Genelecs, Mullards are prized by many guitarists playing vintage amps.
