Book for BPSK

Can anyone recommend a "novice" level book on the theory and practice of BPSK. (Amazon?)

I have a Physics and Mathmatics background but have not studied any HF phase shift methods at all.  

I need a first(low)level book that at least gives me the knowledge of how the computer audio card can synthesize the signal for the HF transmitter.  How's it all work!

I know you said that you wanted a book (which is pretty rare these days), but as far as Internet sites go, here is a place to start: http://www.psk31.com/

As far as an ink on paper resource, you can't hardly beat, "ARRL's HF Digital Handbook" by Steve Ford, WB8IMY. It is available from the ARRL for $19.95, but you can save a whole dollar by buying it from Amazon.

Scott, thanks, I spent the weekend browsing the internet and did find some very helpful information.... usually form the ham radio community....

I downloaded the HRD program and started reading the manual for it and found a wealth of information there as well.

Will check out the book from ARRL...  thanks for the note, Tom
