I have an old Toshiba Satellite 105CS that is running Windows 98SE, and I am at a loss as far as how to get the display resolution changed on this thing. I am trying to set the resolution to something like a 800x600 resolution, so that the icons on the desktop are smaller, but nothing I try seems to be be making a difference. I used to have a 110CS, and I never had a problem changing the resolution on it, but somehow I am having difficulty on this computer. I don't know if I need to download a different driver or adapter or what the issue is. I have reformatted and reinstalled the OS, but every time I try to change the display resolution, nothing seems to change. Can someone that knows anything about this kind of computer walk me through what I need to do as far as the driver or adapter download, or change the display settings? Thanks for the help.
