Commander includes support for the FT-747, though I'm not certain its gotten enough use to iron out all of the kinks. If you're willing, I'd be happy to work with you to ensure full functionality.

Commander is free, and available via www.qsl.net/dxlab .

Thanks Dave,
I tried the commander software (v5.6.6)with my rig but it didn't seem to work, unless there's a problem with my '747. I've tried changing baud, etc, with no effect. I'll check a few more settings but if you have any suggestions please advise.

Thanks,

OK. There's a couple of things we need to check out, including connectivity between your radio and PC, and serial port configuration. I've sent an email message to the address listed in your QRZ.com lookup so we can take this offline; if you don't receive it in the next few minutes, you can obtain my email address from QRZ.com and contact me that way.

After we've gotten it up and running, we can report our results here.

Dave,
The program works great now with the changes you made. It's put new life into my old faithful standby rig. Thanks so much for the great support with your program.

Dave- I, too, have a problem using the FT 747. Can you help me, also?  Bill-W4BSG
