Best Tech. or Shop to send TS-940SAT

I have a Kenwood TS-940SAT that has been in my family for 22 years now, would like to send out to tech. or shop that will do the best job. Looking at replacing both fans, internal battery & have tech. check out radio in general. Anyone know who or where is the best place to send my beloved 940?

You may want to send an email to N1EQ and ask him if he supports the 940.  He has a good track record and is pretty reasonable with his rates.  check him out on eham.net....lots of reviews.

Whoops!  I just checked N1EQ's website and he no longer supports the 940.

Highly recommend Clif at AVVid (www.avvid.com/)....check out his substantial positive feedback here on eHam and you'll see what I mean....expert repairs, reasonable prices and quick turnaround.  He brought my 940 back to life just recently....mine is 24 years old and still plays like a champ....if it hiccups again it will go straight back to Clif.
