Does anyone know how to find the "passord" written into the programming for the above transciever, and how do I eliminate or rewrite the password?  The information is not available from original scources.

hi,

from what I learned by searching,

you need the password to be able to read what is
programmed in the radio.

if you want to reprogram it, no password in needed.

What he said.  If you want the information that is in the EEPROM, you're pretty much hosed.  Sorry!

Let me amplify: if you do not have the password that was set when the radio was programmed, you are hosed.
