A senior citizen ham friend of mine in another town has developed a baffling ECHOLINK problem.  He's been using the microphone function contained in a new computer camera that he got recently.  The camera's microphone function continues to work great on SKYPE, but when he goes to ECHOLINK he can't transmit.  When he goes into the ECHOLINK "recording" screen, it shows "microphone not connected".  Perhaps that's because he doesn't have a dedicated microphone plugged in, and the microphone function of the camera is supposed to take its place.  It has been working great, until yesterday.  He hears everything coming in on ECHOLINK normally.  I had him re-boot the computer, and that didn't help either.  Also, when he attempts to send text, and clicks on the SEND button, it moves what he has typed up into the gray area just above as it should - but it doesn't go out on ECHOLINK to be seen on the other end.      Help would be appreciated!  73 - George, N9EJS
