I am having a problem with fldigi on my MacBook Pro. After downloading and setup I can't get the received signal to print out in the window. It decodes in the sidebar but will not print text in the receive window. I am using an ICOM 756 Pro, a Signalink USB, OS 10.6.8, and fldigi 3.21.60 (the latest version).  I need some help. Any suggestions?

Sorry about the typo. It should read: MacBook Pro.

Sounds like you might have the squelch set too high.  To the right of the waterfall is a slider that represents the audio squelch.  If it is set too high, you won't get decode even if it is showing in the sidebar.

Slide it up/down to adjust and you should get decent decode.

Dave:  Thanks for your reply. That was precisely my problem and I guess it's time for me to feel stupid. I was looking for a complex solution and a simple one was staring me in the face. Oh well, it's not the first time that's happened and it probably won't be the last. Thanks again, it's working fine. Smiley Smiley Smiley
