This idea was later used in the movie "Johnny Mnemonic" with the disease "NAS",  Nerve Attenuation Syndrome caused by pervasive electromagnetic radiation exposure.
So what is old becomes new again.

I find it interesting that within the article, a RUBBER coat with helmet and a breathing tube is supposed to protect us from the Dangerous Telegraph Waves.....

Obviously the author did not understand that rubber is completely Passive to Electric waves therefore providing absolutely NO protection......

Even back then these unformed authors were busy trying to scare people without the facts before they went to print.......

In reading this article it sounds similar to many of the Tea Party candidates on a campaign podium such as Sharon Angle or already elected GOP Michelle Bachmann and Rand Paul. Seriously they really do and this is not to be a political statement or to incite a political debate it is a qualified observation!
