Hi can anyone please tell me if K4MDX is in Midway Island,Ive worked him and sent a card and in return I got one from his home state in USA,hes on 14.226 now and still being shown as being in Midway Is.

K4MDX is in Virginia.  K4M was the callsign for the recent expedition to Midway Island.

Being shown where?  Some DX software?  The cluster?

If it's your logging software that is showing it as Midway it's ignoring the letters after K4M. You need to update your software with the latest country list. Go to this link and follow the instructions for your software:

If it's your DX cluster, find a different cluster provider or perform the updates.

Hi thanks lads,he was shown on a few clusters as Midway Is. but I guess it is wrong,I thought I was lucky until I read his card in the post,thanks again.

Work first, worry later of course, but never trust the cluster entity parser (or other hams) to get them right.

I missed out on JD1/M because the cluster was saying "JD1/O" in the comments field.  It wasn't true, but I skipped over it and moved on because I had JD1/O worked on 20 phone.
