I have an Alinco DX-50TH and would like to hook it to a computer to controller the radio and view band sweep for singals. Is there a device out there that does this?  Is Rigblaster Pro something can work?

i checked the Alinco web site looking for a DX-50TH manual, but couldn't find one and so can't tell you whether or not its can be computer-controlled. The DX-77T can be computer controlled. After a quick scan of its manual, the DX-70TH appears to not be controllable by a computer.

Go to: http://www.alinco.com/pdf.files/, scroll to the bottom of the page and select the pulldown box under Misc.   There is a very nice pdf file there which describes the DX77 programming interface in gory detail.  Quite nice.

N1QKD was asking about the DX-50TH, not the DX-77.

Apologies in advance--but comupter control?  Is that to give the bad operator his commupance?  ;-)

The DX-70 cannot be computer controlled; there is no computer port.
