I have my remote station up and running, using Elecraft K3 connected to a serial server (ala N8LP's method).  Using an old PC for Skype audio.  Now wondering if there is some way to view a panadapter display.  Hardware possibilities seem to include LP-PAN and the K3 Panadapter.  Software for LP-PAN might be PowerSDR or TRX Pan.  Not sure if the K3 Panadapter can be remoted.

I would be very interested in hearing from anyone who has remoted a panadapter display.

Check out the QS1R SDR.  It uses an FPGA server that can be accessed over the internet.

I use the SDR-IQ all the time remote, panadapter works fine.  Try SDR-Radio with some of the online receivers and see how well good SDR hardware/software can work.  However, these stations are receive only.
