Hi All,
I was given a cable that is suppose to be for a FT-950 to am amp.(I have a AL-80B)
It has a 8pin mini Din and a RCA connector. I want to check and make sure it is correct. Can some one tell me the pin outs it should have.
 Thanks

Look at the tuner jack pinout on page 15 of the FT-950 manual.

a lot of people are purchasing 8 pin cables for the tuner jack to control a amplifier on the FT-950 for some reason. The cable is just for keying the amp(no ALC). You should check the pin outs of your cable to verify cable will work. You can purchase a cable from a Ebay store, usename is generalvideo. He has excellent quality cables, i purchased the 10 pin cable for the linear jack on the back of my FT-950. I preferred the 10 pin cable since i was connecting a linear to the linear jack(just made more sense than using the tuner jack). here is a link(this cable has ALC)
