For contest logging, I've become a big fan of the Window$-based N1MM Logger.  It's a *free* download from N1MM.com.  N1MM is constantly keeping this program updated & tweaked and is on top of all bug reports.

Keep in mind this is a contest logging program that does some general logging, but won't do award tracking.

It's a quantum leap from CT

I personally use Writelog and I think it is the best software for contesting.  The N1MM is probably the best free software.

For more info goto: www.writelog.com

ARRL (via the Contest Rate sheet) is reporting a bug in N1MM in the Cabrillo format. Logs from the CW Sweepstakes have a hosed up Cabrillo format. For particulars see the ARRL Contest Rate Sheet.

The n1mm yahoo mailing list indicates that the cabrillo problem was caused by iomproper program use, not by a bug.

That's all I know, except to say that n1mm is quite some amazing software that's being given away.
