The Yaesu FT-920 I have had the extended transmit mod done and I want to change that back
to transmit in band only. I know that I have to reconnect the green wire but
then do I have to go into the menu and change something there?? Thanks for the
help, Ralph AA8P

Why bother? Just pay attention to the band edges.

There is nothing inherantly illegal or immoral in having a rig that operates out of band.
