Just did mine with Google Chrome and the whole process
worked perfectly, both the QSL request and the PayPal
donation. Well.............perfectly IF the QSLs come through!

Now it tells you how much to donate to get your card direct.

Happy New Year everybody.

I also saw the LOTW confirmation.

I wonder if I can also assume that this means a guarantee of a direct qsl card as well?

I got my LoTW CW and SSB QSL, but not my RTTY (it does show I'm in the log). I'm hoping it's just that the RTTY logs have not been uploaded yet. Anyone have a RTTY LoTW QSL yet?

All of my LOTW confirmations are in except for 30 meter RTTY. I had one other RTTY QSO on 10 meters and did receive a confirmation.

I now have my RTTY in LoTW. It was my logging error.

The LoTW confirmation is a guarantee that you are in the log.  Of course, if you want the direct QSL, you need to follow the appropriate instructions indicated on the website.

I'm pleased with the LoTW confirmations received so soon after the expedition.  These are applicable for DXCC as of right now.  I'm in no rush at all to receive the direct QSL that I requested-- I'd just like one for my QSL album.

When I mentioned to a reflector about not receiving QSL's from them via LoTW, when others had, one ham asked me if I had made a donation?  I didnt know a "donation" was required for LoTW QSL's.  Guess I better visit the webpage and check this out.

It isn't-- but-- like many expeditions, this one gives priority to those who have donated to the cause.

I don't mind sending them some money as I had lots of fun chasing them and they put on a splendid effort.
