I want to remove the front window of my TM-G707A for the purpose of cleaning the inside of it-dust and specks. Does anyone know a way to remove that window, then get it back on again without breaking?

It's possible that the glass is held on using hot melt glue in which case leaving the front panel in hot water will soften it enough to release the glass.

Get the service manual from: http://www.repeater-builder.com/kenwood/pdfs/kenwood-tm-g707a-e-sm.pdf
On page 28 there is an exploded view.
