Can anyone provide some guidance about how to replace the back up battery in this transceiver?

Tnx,

This site has some information but you have to register to use it: http://www.mods.dk/index.php?ModelId=57&RadioRec=yaesu.

There are walk throughs on Yahoo's Yaesu FT-767 group, with photos even.  As an added bonus you will have hundreds of FT-767 owners that by now have changed their battery.  If not done correctly you can end up either breaking or cutting some very small gauge bundles wires, I found that out the hard way.
