This company has the BEST customer service that I experienced in a very long time.

I will buy all my Ham stuff from these folks.

They went out of their way to make sure I got my station up and running in time for the Sweeps.

I will do my best to pass my satisfaction with DX Engineering on to my fellow ham friends.

Thanks
Al

Just my 2 cents. I live 2.2 miles down the street from DX Engineerting. I can order andything they sell and pick it up in 30 minutes. In August i called and ordered a complete 5 band hex beam and ALL acessories including a rotor and chimney mount .I picked the entire order up 30 minutes later. I just installed the 5 band hex beam on the roof 2 days ago. A quick test today and everything seems to be ok. What a quality kit. The directions were absoulety first class. I had no problems assembling the antenna, rotor and chimney mount. I would recommend them to anybody. They have quality products. Russ K8QF.

Yeah DXENGINEERING set the standards for online order processing. I order a ton of stuff through them from overseas. Their online order processing is the best in the world and their freight charging system just excellent. DXENGINEERING IS THE BEST period.

I get sick and tired of being treated like a terrorist by US companies who think that anyone outside of the USA that uses a credit card is a criminal wanting to rip them off, especially when you from  modern western country  that has  very strict fraud laws.  What is staggering is the number of US ham radio order companies that still want to do their own credit card verification outside of what the credit card companies demand and even treat Paypal like  a petty thief's tool of choice. It takes one telephone call to any credit card company for verification and 1 minute on the printer for a overseas order without extra charges.  Other companies could learn a lot from the DXENGINEERING business model.

I just  think that most ham radio companies are just too lazy  bothering about  making money, but they good at griping about how slim margins are! These companies are running their ham radio businesses like a corner store from 50 years ago. Where are these corner stores now?  They have all disappeared! They all gone with the wind because they just sat on their rear ends and expected people to throw money at them.

Anyway, along comes a professional modern business like DXENGINEERING and  guess what, none of these small minded issues. Why can DXENGINEERING process orders without all this BS. DXENGINEERING is  to ham radio what AMAZON is to the book market. Companies like DXENGINEERING set the standard. I just wish DXENGINEERING would increase their range of ham radio products  so I can order more. Companies who treat the "world as their oyster"will prosper,  others who think that they can survive on CONUS sales will die and blow away. We live in a global village.

DXENGINEERING are marketing experts and their web page would make a good case study for marketing lessons at  business  school.
They also deserve a medal  for one of the most clean easy too  use web pages that I have come across.

Anyway DXENGINEERING is my online ham radio super online candy store with no equal and who has set the standard for the best customer support.

I love them but why do they make you enter in your customer ID to place an order.  No other online vendor does this.  Period. In my 10+ years of e-commerce experience
I have never seen this.  Customers just don't remember a number like this.  An e-mail or username is another thing but a random number they create.  That just ain't right.

I mentioned it to them 2 years ago and a few weeks ago.  One day they will get it right.  I agree with everything the other posters say, they get the merchandise out the door.  Its getting the order in the door that stops me up; I have to search gmail for my order id.  Huh

Please excuse the delay in replying, but the changes you are referring to have been on our list of IT web site projects.  Your comments allowed us to increase their priority so we were able to get them implemented sooner - rather than later.  We finally finished testing the changes and have had the email/password option enabled on the web site for over a week now, and it is working flawlessly.

The next time you check in the "old way", you will also see an option to assign a password to your account.  Thanks for giving this project the little "push" that it needed!

Hi Folks,

I was lucky enough to call Friday Aug 5 2011, hoping to purchase an item, from DX Engineering;  and to have George K3GP answer the phone, and he was Courteous and Helpful to me.

Many times people, {myself included} only bother to Complain when unhappy, but we do not bother to Compliment, when good Service
happens.

Today, I was treated very well on the phone, and am Happy to say job Well Done.

Keep up the good work, and I hope to do more business in the future with DX Engineering. Smiley
