GRig help needed bigtime

Hi all, I need help on making GRig load. I have downloaded it, but all I get is a bunch of files, I have no idea what I am supposed to do with them, I am NOT computer literate. can some one tell me how to get the program to work. I thought that a program was supposed to load up as one thing, not a bunch of files that I have no idea what I am supposed to do with them. i really want to use the program, I need someone to explain it to me, keeping in mind that I am stoopid when it comes this stuff. thanks for any and all help. Any particular reason you chose to use this GRIG program
when there are so many (dozens) of other superior (and easy to install)
rig control programs out there? What brand/model radio do you
want to control? What is your computer & OS?

Since you say you are not computer literate, this program is probably
not a good choice. Just looking it over quickly, it appears feature limited and cludgy.
There are lots of self extracting rig control programs, for
just about any rig, some specifically for certain rigs, most free.
