On an ICOM 2700, can the bands be switched between the two sides and how? This must be in the manual but I can't find it.

Can one side do both 70 cm and 2 meters? The right side has an issue with the speaker jack and I really don't want to try to get inside it at this time. Again, if this is in the manual I can't find it.

When you hit the buttons on the mic (band select) that move the "main" back and forth,,,well if you hold the button it will toggle the VHF/UHF.......Yes either side can do VHF or UHF,,,Just not at the same time (EI can't mix the freqs, your either V or U)
so you can have
VHF-UHF,  UHF-VHF, UHF-UHF, VHF-VHF

Also you have some control over your audio outputs,,,,you may have a work around for your jack issue.....Surprized there are still some 2700's out there that are still functional......Mine sorta does sometimes.....
