Yaesu FT-101E regulator board repair

I have an ft-101e with a bad 1314a regulator board, the problem is 13.6 volts in but no 6 volts out, pretty sure it's a bad MFC-6030 (Q4).  Anyone know of a good fix for this or a replacement for the outdated and discontinued mfc-6030?  Also is that component simply two transistors head to head? I can find no info. on the device.  I have two 2N9604s, would they work in place of the old component? Any help is appreciated, tnx. Michael KD5FPO@juno.com

I doubt it is bad , it is probably loaded (has a near short somewhere from another board) causing the VDC to go to 6V. I suggest touching it after it has been on a while and seeing if it gets warm.

If it is , then start removing the circuits attached to it one-by-one

Chances of that regulator going bad are null... Its current limited
