If you try to burn paper in your fireplace you will quickly learn how 'dirty' burning paper can be let alone anything toxic. Not to mention the inks, rubber bands, plastic binders etc.

Your flue would be plugged within a couple of hours.

The last few posters got in before I did--I second burning it for heat.  Roll it up and use bailing wire to tie it.  Then just toss it in the wood stove and enjoy.

Good point!  Do you know someone who does?  Maybe they would take the stuff off your hands for you.  Or maybe you could do the 'logging' and sell them.  BTW, a spiral 'wrap' works best.

Does your local paper or TV station have a reporter
who specializes in environmental issues, or even "human interest" stories?
You might contact them. I would think the "We are always
told to recycle. But this guy WANTS to recycle TONS of paper
but can't" angle/story might get you a free pickup. (It would
be free advertising for the pickup or recycling firm.)

Eh, just an idea......

Not sure about office paper, but cardboard is really up in value.  My office is installing a baler next week to sell off our cardboard.  I see guys pulling it out of dumpsters in Miami all the time.  You might be able to find someone to actually buy it from you.
