218 participants over 24 hours makes for a pretty thin spread. I wish SKCC would shorten the length of their sprints considerably. I am a fan and a member, I just think their weekend sprints are too long to be called sprints.
That is (I would imagine), 218 that submitted a score.
I know I participated in it and didn't turn in a score. I am sure there were more than 218 participants. And we are talking about a club contest. We arn't talking about a ARRL or CQ DX contest: this is a niche club working other members of that club (for the most part). I would say that is a pretty good turn out.
