30mSSTV-subscribe@yahoogroups.comhttp://groups.yahoo.com/group/30mSSTV/This group is for those interested in promoting narrow band SSTV on the WARC Band, 30 meters. The "usual" frequency for 30 meter SSTV is 10.132 MHz using any narrow bandwidth mode such as MP73-N. As you know: 30 meters will not carry the heavy traffic of 20 meters, won't be influenced by contesting traffic (digital, cw, or SSB), won't require an Advanced or Extra Class license like 40 meters, and won't be burdened with perpetual QRM like 20 or 80 meters. Additionally, the band is usually open day and night somewhere around the world, similar to 20 meters. It's the PERFECT picture band!
We would welcome you to this group and help popularize 30m SSTV in an excellent environment.
