I have been asked to speak on Mar 24 to the Rednernsville Women Institute. The meeting is at my house and the subject is Ham radio. It is in the afternoon between 1;30 and 3 oclock EST. While I have no idea what the bands will be like I would like if possible to do a demo from some distance . I am good on 20 meters SSB (knwd TS830S)and Cw on 80 with a vintage one tube station (both RX and TX.  If any would be interested in working me during the demo as I find it possible I would appreciate it and so would the ladies I am sure. It just so happens the meeting is here at our QTH which makes it practical for me, at least. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Don!

I would love to help out on the 24th but, I can't find your call on QRZ to be able to judge where you are in Canada?

Don - happy to help with this project. My club (Lake Effect ARC, KD8DKU) is encouraging two women in my area (UP of Michigan) to get licensed. Should be able to hit your QTH, but would like to test that beforehand if possible. Keep me on your list and advise as the date approaches.

Very best wishes from the fabulous UP of Michigan!
