I posted a while back about the missing resistor on the if board.  I emailed k4eaa about that and it definately was supposed to be there.  Well I did some more looking over my boards and noticed another missing resistor where there was a spot for one.  I have the service manual for the ts-520 (NO S) and have have checked the board numbers x44-1080-00 is my board and same board in the service manual.  This missing resistor on the rf board is R13.  In the component diagram which shows sortof like a drawn picture of the board it definately is there.  Shows a picture and shows it as r13.

Now I move on over to the schematic and it isn't there!  I was positive about the if board as it was listed on schematic and got confirmation from k4eaa.  On this though I'm wondering if this resistor was left out on purpose for some reason maybe to improve the circuit.  I mainly just wanted to know if someone could open up there service manual and see what I'm seeing.  thanks, nathan

Have you checked with the Yahoo ts-520 group?  If not, I'm sure they could help.  Lots of info in their files too.  cheers.
