Ain't CW..... pulse modulated SSB..... and the "CW" would be 3Khz wide!

I'm glad to see we are finailly getting some serious discussion on this forum. 
Of course if you have a fast VOX you can just insert a bit of carrier and turn the transmit audio down and just dit  ditty dit dit into the mike and have near perfect CW or maybe put
a Pink Floyd CD on and see the other op could read that.
The possibilities are endless!!!!

The Pink Floyd CD for carrier modulation on MCW would be completely weird, especially if it was from of their earlier works.

To really tilt the cheese off of your cracker, since computers are fast enough and could buffer data you could use a data stream within the dashes to send a second channel of data. Then again, this is beginning to sound like "spread spectrum" and we know how much of a sin that is on HF.
