I could not find from the manual on how to erase a memory.  From the manual, I only could find how to remove a memory from a certain memory bank.  I want to erase a memory but not from a memory bank.  If anybody knows how to do so, please kindly tell me.

I do it the easy way.   I just overwrite the channel you want out to one of my favorite frequencies, So then in scan mode it will have more than once to "hit" on a favorite frequency.     Works good.

All the Yaesu radios I've owned only allow you to "mask" an unwanted freq.  It will disappear from view and basically be deleted, but unless you overwrite it or do a reset you can get the data back at some point if you want.  Just the way Yaesu do things.  cheers.
