What band are you using the ATS-100 on. I have found it to be about 10 dB less effiecent than a ham stick on HF.

More like about 15 dB difference Mike....

Mark's devices works, but I wouldn't use the MFJ one on a 7000 without modifying it. The reason is, there is a 20kΩ resistor pulling the TKEY line high—it is already pulled high internally with a 100kΩ. When you do this with a 7000, the cooling fan will not operate properly with predictable results.
