I remember seeing a "73 Magazine" published during 1964 election, for sale at a hamfest.
On the cover was a drawing of a big tribander on top of the White House.
I thought it was pretty cool looking, but the seller wanted a ridiculous
price for the magazine, something like $40, and it was not in good condition. Pass.

running mate of American Independent Party candidate George Wallace in 1968.
IIRC, earlier in his career, due to his ham radio activities, he was instrumental in
getting the Air Force to switch over from AM to SSB on HF.
