I'm trying to get back on 2-meter packet after many years, but I'm having trouble finding a terminal program which will run in Windows 7 64-bit.  None of the old ones I had before will.  Can anyone off any advice?  I am using a KPC-3+ TNC.

I run Win 7 64 bit and one of the things I always have handy is a virtual PC image of windows XP. It's good for installing old software you know is never going to be updated. Virtual PC is free so all you would need is an XP CD to install on it. Just one other option if you can't find what you're looking for. Most non terminal programs seem to work ok for me though (Multipsk, MMTTY, Airlink, AGW, etc.)

I looked for a bit, and came up with this:

which might let you run Hyperterminal under Windows 7 / 64 bit.  I haven't tried it.

I thought he mean command line packet software... But if he just wants a terminal program, I use teraterm in Win 7 x64 and it is free and works great.

Thanks to all for your input.  I have found a couple programs which work.  The first was PUTTY, which was OK.  Then someone else recommended Ipserial with OUTPOST which is what I am using now.
