Anyone familliar with these modes?

Piccolo and Coquelet
I've heard of them but I have no clue what software I'd need to operate these exotic modes. MultiPSK now supports receiving of Coquelet but not transmitting, and doesn't support Piccolo at all.

Does someone have any more info on these modes at all?

If you do a search you will find info on both Picolo and Coquelet. Both are variations on the mFSK scheme. They were developed back in the 1960s (if I recall properly) for communications of digital (text) data and were intended to provide better performance than RTTY.

You may find that locating the software isn't difficult, the problem begins when you can't find anyone else using it !  Go with the flow and make contacts, use something odd and you'l be talking to yourself all day
