Hi Bob

You will find PSK on 7.070 and 7.035, USB.
Olivia on 7.072.5 and JT65 on 7.076. All on USB of course.

PSK on 40 meters is usually found just about 7.035 in USB on your rig.

And in Europe its closer to 7.038. Stay up late and you'll catch the early birds in Europe, if conditions are OK of course !

True.. I said 7.035 for the dial.  Really you'll find PSK anywhere between 7.035 and 7.040

On 40 meter voice I thought it was LSB not USB?  Is that different for PSK31?

Yes, the modern digital modes pretty much stick to USB although it doesn't really matter.

The voice USB/LSB convention is from the very early days of homebrew SSB fixed crystal filters around 9 or 10 MHZ IIRC that were then mixed directly into the band.  So below the crystal filter had to be one way, above it, the other sideband.  That was 50 or 60 years ago.

Lately I haven't found much PSK on 40m at all.  Everybody is up on 15m, 12m and 10m.

Monday through Friday I don't get home until 5:15 AM GMT, I find plenty of activity on 40 meter PSK.
