Allen KA5N

The pileup got worse Tongue And the cops and the "split operation challenged" operators are in fine form.

He is L O U D though. 20 over here @23:40

Considering my only Rotuma qso was back in '92 and I never got it confirmed, I'm happy with one qso. I'll try for more, but one takes the edge off.

I bet he's not 20 over on my mobile !

Sure hope they are receiving better than when MM. I heard lots of stations calling, including west coast, then 3D2R/MM would CQ again. Folks complaining about the ears.

I only need Rotuma as a mobile QSO for my benefit.

I am sure running out of DXCC possibilities to work while mobile between now and end of year.

I still need some easy ones like 3A, C3, HV, 1A, SV/A, A4, DU, BV. Oh wait I am mobile. Not suppose to work these too easily. More of the heard, but not worked.

It looks like I'll be doing good to make 230 in one year mobile.

I'll flip over to the vertical and check whenever they come back from their 10 minute qrx they went on 20 minutes ago.

I think they were having amp problems (problems of some kind) on 10m earlier, they were off air several times.

At 00:45, still 5/8 on the T8, 5/0 on the vertical on 10m.

15m cw, 599 and 559.

I'd also like to catch them from the mobile before they leave.

Good luck with the chase Tony.

They were loud on 10 for about 45 minutes, right around my sunset in NJ but they were primarily working west-coast and midwest stations. Perhaps propagation was only one-way at the time. They faded to noise, still working only 0s, 5s, 6s and 7s around 2330z. I need Rotuma on 10, 12, 40, 80 and 160 as well as RTTY, so I know what I'll be doing for the next week Smiley

Working plenty of east coast USA on 40M this morning, able to snag that around 6:30 AM local time, they sound decent on 80M also so the opportunities for many bands looks promising. I only had this one on 20M CW up to now with 3D2AG/P a few years back.
