I recently dug out my old MFJ 407B keyer to improve my code speed. I have lost the manual. I need to know how to wire the
9volt dc power supply.  Would appreciate any asssistance as I don't want to damage the 407 B. I have a plug.
I have not been on CW in many years.

Thanks,

Frank

The MFJ manuals are all online -- go here:

http://www.mfjenterprises.com/prodsupport.php

They don't have the MFJ 407B, but they do have the 407D manual.  That should have the P/S information.

Thanks Charles,
No schematic or details found on that manual on my computers.  I checked there right away.

If push comes to shove, open the box and see where the power wires go.  If it uses 9VDC, see which connector terminal is ground and which is hot. Connect the 9VDC accordingly.  Simple.

Thanks for reply
I had decided to do that which I mentioned on the elmer forum. The tip is positive on the 407B so I wired it up and it works fine.
