Just curious to see if anyone is in or around the St. Louis MO area and in the late teens. As great as QSOs are with the older guys, making a contact with someone from my own generation would be FANTASTIC!  Grin

I'm in Town and Country. I've been trying to encourage one of my sons to take the test.

He's in the UMSL/Washington U joint Engineering program so the test will be a snap. A few days ago he said he might take the test over break but mainly because he thought having a license might dress up his electrical engineering resume.

Funny thing: He does much of his studying in front of my Flex 5000 and KW amp. He sometimes uses the Flex to listen to AM radio music. But he has almost no interest in ham radio. He'd also have access to Wash U's fine club station which I think has been dormant recently.
