Codetrol is pretty pricey.  Maybe you ought to look for a Melehan Valiant...

Hi all,
I am looking for a Codetrol Bug that is in usable condition. I am not really interested in museum quality but rather one that I can wire to my radio since that is what I want it for. I would like for the name plate to be in decent shape so it can be read without speacial equipment HIHI

These bugs were made by :Bearnard H. Breedlove in Atlanta, Georgia. So if anybody can help me with this search please let me know.

Thanks and 73,
David Saylors

Ebay is your best bet.  I saw one in rough shape appear several months ago.  Expect to see one or two up for acution per year, at prices anywhere from $250 for a basket case to $500-$1500 for a nice one, or higher.
