Nelson,
The Star Roamer sold for $150 and free shipping. I probably broke out even on it after all the overhead, but a guy who had one as a kid is going to enjoy it more than I. On the bench will be a GE 102 (electronics completed, needs cosmetics), a Robyn 520 Cb (Electronics completed, needs alignment), and one of those Dashboard AMBC radios (needs full restore).

All I know is that I'm trying to watch the Mummer's Parade on the live stream from WPHL-TV.... So far it's about as exciting as watching grass grow, but without the blue skies and sunshine. Best guess is they decided to webcast the parade on a zero dollar budget. I hope the broadcast version has more life to it. I need to review the moves of the Mummer's Strut as I'm getting rusty, but how can I do that when it's so damned hard to stay awake? The parade needs more Italians. Or fewer Italians. I haven't decided. I'll get back to you on this..................  |

Tsk. Such an attitude from someone in New Jersey where the typical New Year's celebration involves three sparklers and a bottle rocket. I have never heard a Mummer speak ill of you. |
