Actually, from the links supplied above, I think the transmitter I'm hearing isn't terribly far, a few miles maybe. And my car radio? It receives the signal at my QTH about as good as my HF rig. So, between that and the daytime AM DX that I can hear in my car, I'd say my car radio is pretty sensitive!
