Hi. I just picked up a cherry audio filter. Of course, it came without documentation. It is a ERC Model SL-56.
I am looking to PURCHASE a copy of the Manual/Schematics. It works fb on CW, but when switched to SSB, it makes a crackling 'white noise' and the signal disappears. Inside looks mint but the ICs are hardwired... (but I can change that! ha ha)

Thank you in advance for any leads..... Google is NOT my friend when it comes to this unit. Sad

Try contacting a seller of one advertising the inclusion of the orig documentation, such as here:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Electronic-Research-Corp-ERC-SL-56-Audio-ActiveFilter-/170681085040

Or, you could play stalk & ambush and contact a seller/buyer and offer something to them for a photocopy.

Hi Wes. Too late, I already tried contacting the seller you listed. He has already sold the filter.
I was hoping that someone here would be willing to sell me a copy. No joy yet.
Maybe I'll just look at the signal with a 'scope or just put in sockets so I can swap ICs.....

tnx anyway!

It doesn't work on SSB? Not a problem.
