Yaesu says: Commander No Longer Compatible w/ VX7R

According to Yaesu a new VX-7R firmware renders the Commander software unusable.

It remains to be seen what changes will need to be made  to make it compatible again with the VX-7R.

Does anyone have any contact information for James (Jim) Mitchell - KC8UNJ, the author of this excellent software.

Another problem I just had is every time I try to download  KC8UNJ software  VM-UV commander  for the Wouxun it keep sending me the download for the Yaseu VX2 software??
