Contact Bob Heil at their web site - he might get back to you the same day - or info. may be posted there.
I have contacted Bob H. through e-mail a couple times - always got back to me quickly. 73 K1WJ David

Follow this link, it should have the pinouts you are looking for.

pin 1 on the xlr end would be mic pin 1 on the 8 pin side?
,then what would pin 2 and 3 be wired for at the xlr?

Here are the 8-pin MIC connector pinouts:

Yaesu: MIC - 8, PTT - 6, MIC GND - 7, MIC GND - 5

Kenwood:  MIC - 1, PTT - 2, MIC GND - 7, PTT GND - 8

So, to convert a Yaesu adaptor to a Kenwood adapter, move Pin 8 to Pin 1, Pin 6 to Pin 2, and Pin 5 to Pin 8.

I did a repin for my connector and it worked out great.  Just remember that they mark the cables with color coded shirk tube so mark it as "Customized" !  73 KC2UML Rory
