Wow. Much better IMD specs, and the all important FCC certifications posted as PDFs.
At least one manufacturer is trying.

The "Expert 2K-FA" seems to only be certified for emission type 11K0F3A, which seems to be a narrow-band FM emission if I'm reading things correctly...

Interesting... I wonder what difference it makes, since it is legal to import and use on the ham bands?

That would tell me that it would be great for the upper end of 10M, and only legal there (unless it goes as high as 6M - I didn't look.)

And it looks like they have a distributor in Dallas, Tx too.
Maybe they'll be at HAMCOM this year. I'm betting those
amps will be pretty expensive. Maybe not as expensive as
some, but, from the specs, along with a built-in autotuner,
they certainly won't be cheap.

RF Solutions now has the newly released SPE EXPERT 2K-FA amplifier in stock. The cost is $8,295.00.   I hardly think the RM Italy will have there toes stepped on by these. And hardly think RM Italy amps are in same class either to be honest. However that just my opinion here.

I guess you get for what you pay... the SPE line has certification and the IMD specs aren't that bad.

Hi,

If I remember correctly they were in the corner of the SteppIR booth, at Dayton last year. I would think they would be more in the league of Tokyo High Power (THP) then RM Italy.

Compairing SPE to RM-Itally is like compairing a Porshe to a Vega.
