I see in the manual a specific type of clamp is used in the element assembly process. It seems that the type clamp shown in no longer available. (I will be calling HyGain on Monday to confirm.) My question is, do stainless steel hose clamps with a stainless steel screw provide good compression and prevent movement of the elements?

Thanks,

The old clamps were crap - go with Stainless hose clamps.

I believe new antennas use the hose clamps.  Not as elegant, but very effective and cheap.
